Common Mobile Bar Questions

What is a "Mobile Bar"? It's a new and exciting way to level up your event.  Give your guest the best experience with a mini tap truck, tricycle or cart.  It brings a wow factor and an original photo opportunity which will help turn your event into a party!  We named each of our mobile bars after the characters on the show Golden Girls.  We hope you have the opportunity to book Sophia, Rose, Blanche or Stan .  Dorothy is coming soon to a party near you.

What’s included with the mobile bar rental?  Please refer to the package of your choice for the full list of items included.

Can your mobile bars be used indoors and outdoors?  Yes, absolutely.  Our golden girls love to entertain both inside and outside.   Outdoor examples: driveways, backyards, vineyards, barns, lakeside, etc.  Indoor examples: reception halls, corporate events, inside your business for customer appreciation days, typically only required a double door access approximate size of 72”W X 80”H.  We will double check this once approved by your vendor.   

What does Curated Displays require for set up?  We need a flat surface for set up and service, 1 hour time prior to event for set up and break down.  A 20-amp outlet when using the frozen slush machine. We’ll supply a heavy duty extension cord for the frozen drink machine.  For convenience, power is not needed for our tap trucks and tricycle our cooling is power free using a full ice system.

Do you provide bartenders or bartending services? No, unfortunately we do not.  Our mobile bars are rented “dry” meaning we do not provide or serve the alcohol beverages for your party.  You will need to work with your licensed and insured caterer or bartending service to provide beverage service from our mobile displays. However, we can offer an attendant onsite for the duration of your event to switch kegs, and maintain a neat and clean tap space.  Additional fees apply.  Curated Display’s is simply a party rental company specializing in custom mobile displays and other adorable add-on items.  Unfortunately, we do not have a liquor or food license. 

Does Curated Displays provide the alcohol?  No, sorry we are unable to buy the alcohol for your event due to insurance and licensing regulations.  However, we can assist you with exactly what you need to buy for your special occasion.

What kind of drinks can be served through your taps? Really, almost any beverage, boozy or non-boozy: beer, wine, cider, cocktails, mocktails, champagne, juices, cold brew coffee, iced tea, seltzers, and so much more.

Client to provide: All alcohol, Sixtel and tall 1/6 barrel kegs, 1/4 barrel short kegs that work with a Sankey-D Coupler. Don't worry, we'll help you with this.

Does Curated Displays carry insurance and what kind of permits are required?  We carry General Liability and Rental Insurance.  It will be your responsibility to obtain the proper licenses and permits for the event.

Can you service a non-alcohol based event? Absolutely.  We are happy to provide a service for any type of event, including kids parties.  We can recommend a non-alcohol beverage menu ranging from sodas, iced tea, coffees, mocktails, slushies, and more.

Do you have a rain date policy? Though we cannot change dates last minute due to inclement weather, all of our mobile displays work well under tents (or inside). Fortunately, we can provide a 10 x 10 tent that will accommodate our mobile display but will not leave much room for guests to fit.  However, you are more than welcome to work with your tent vendor to find a size appropriate for your needs.

 

Reservations

Just like any other reception hall or site, dates fill fast.  Please book early.

What do I need to book it? You need both the date of your special occasion, and a 50% deposit will be required to hold your reservation.  The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event.  We’ll work out those details closer to your event. 

What happens if I cancel my mobile bar reservation? Cancellations made within 90 days of the event will not receive a refunded deposit.  If you need to change the date of your reservation prior to 90 days, please email us for availability. 

  

Areas We Serve

Where are you based and how far will you travel? 

Curated Displays is based in Toledo, Ohio.  We service Toledo and the surrounding areas, up to 30 miles is included in the rental cost.

We love to travel so if your needs are outside of Toledo and surrounding areas, be sure to contact us and to book us early so we can make the arrangements to be part of your special occasion.  Additional fees apply at $4.00 per mile in excess of the 30 mile radius from Toledo, Ohio.  Plus, overnight fees where applicable.

We can complete custom branding and logo work on our mobile bars.  Just text, email or call us for details!

Want something custom or unique (balloons, custom signs or decor) for your event, chances are we can provide it, let's talk!  We encourage unique requests to fully curate an original display just for you.  Your imagination is your only limitation.

Common Sign Questions

How far in advance do I need to purchase my signs? We recommend 4-6 weeks before your event.  If you have a shorter timeline, please shoot us a message, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you accept cancellations on purchased signs? We gladly accept cancellations or change requests within 2 hours of purchase, email us. 

Do you accept exchanges or refunds?  No, I’m sorry we do not.  However, please contact us with any problems with your order upon receipt.

Do you email proofs?  Yes, we email proofs on custom signs.  It’s a great double check to ensure accuracy.

Can I mix and match a different sign in one of Curated Displays multiple sign packages? It’s a very good possibly, just shoot us a quick message.  Text 419/486-9114 or email us at cheers@curateddisplays.com

Do you offer free shipping? We offer free shipping on all sign orders with a total of $75.00 or more.

What should I know about Curated Displays shipping? Average delivery time is 5-8 business days once packaged.  We will send you a tracking number at the time of shipping.

Do you ship international? At this time, we only offer shipping to the continental United States.  However, we would be glad to work with you.  Email us prior to placing your order.

Do you offer local pick-up?  No but we can deliver your purchased signs when we deliver any rented items.
